First Benzi, Second Party...Schedule III?

My First Benzi

I recently returned from the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference in Hollywood, Florida. How did it go? Well, I made some great connections, enjoyed being interviewed for the Apartment 113 podcast, and got to meet former U.S. Senator Cory Gardner at an add-on fundraiser for the National Cannabis Roundtable. So, not bad for a first time at Benzinga.

DEA Public Comment Time!

In other news, the U.S. Justice Department has confirmed its intent to reschedule cannabis to Schedule III. That means that the public comment period has begun. Here are instructions directly from the horse’s mouth on how to submit a public comment:

Comments must be submitted electronically or postmarked on or before July 22, 2024. My comments will focus on the research implications; remember that all comments will become part of the public record. Please make your voice heard in this narrow window of opportunity to do so!
